  1. Xbox One Chat Adapter Broken After Powering Up

Last night I was listening to the television through my Turtle Beach XO Sevens, which were plugged into my updated Day One controller when I decided to play Titanfall. Just before I started Titanfall, I watched a few feeds from Twitch. I then attempted
to set up a broadcast, which did not work. I then attempted to start Titanfall. The game did not load (defaulted back to the Home screen) so I shut down the Xbox One by holding down the power button on the console for 5 seconds. I then used my controller,
which had the new Chat Adapter attached, to turn on the Xbox One. The Xbox turned on without any issues; however, there was no sound coming through the headset. I tried a second updated controller which yielded the same results. I then tested the headset
with my Nokia Lumia 1020 using both cables that came with the XO Seven. Both worked perfectly. I then checked to see if there was another update for the controllers. Both controllers indicated that they were updated. I then checked the Chat Adapter to
see if it was receiving any power by clicking the mute button. The diagonal light did not light up. I then plugged in my old Xbox One Chat headset and tested it the same way. It worked without any problems.

It appears my issue is with the new Chat Adapter. I believe the issue occurred when I powered up my Xbox One from the "off" state using the controller while the Chat Adapter was attached. Up until this time, I hadn't shut down my Xbox past the "sleep" state.
I had also been waking the Xbox One using voice control.

Before I return the Chat Adapter to Microsoft for a replacement, I wanted to see if anyone else had the same issue and whether they were able to fix it.

    :)

    Problems

The only way that I have been able to get my controller to reconnect after the same issue is to take the battery out, hard reset the xbox one by holding the power button for like 5-10 seconds, and then powering everything back on. That seems to do the trick
for me every time. As for the echo, on the stereo chat adapter, there is a game volume button at the top left. Press and hold the said button until you hear a beep. After you hear the beep, then press and hold the volume down button on the chat adapter. After
doing that, press and hold the lower left button on the adapter until you hear another beep. That is the chat button. Then hold the volume up button and you should not have any more echoes. I hop this helps. It is what i do and it works great.

  3. stereo adapter

I got an xbox one stereo adapter around 01/15/16 2 weeks after I bought my xbox one and the adapter stopped working. I had to buy another stereo adapter cause it broke. Now the controller has left thumb analog button "stick" What is my remedy?

  4. Xbox One Chat Adapter Broken After Powering Up

Just as a follow-up, I bought another Chat Adapter. When I attached it to the controller I received a message that the controller needed to be updated. So I updated it and it worked perfectly. I then tried the older Chat Adapter and it still did not work.
I'm going to return the older one to Microsoft for a replacement.
