XBOX ONE Chat Adapter $49.99CND vs $24.99USD Stereo Headset $99..99 vs $79.99 This is crazy...... Canadian dollar isn't as bad to warrant a 20$ increase for the Stereo Headset and almost a 50% increase for the cheap little Headset Adapter that should of
been included to begin with. The SONY Pulse Gold 7.1 Wireless Headset is 99$ and Microsoft wants us to pay 99$ for a Stereo Headset that isn't even wireless? I am a day one owner of OG XBOX XBOX 360 XBOX ONE and a OG XBOX LIVE Beta tester, with a 12 year old
gamertag and I tell you I am very disappointed. I guess I will be forced to pay this over priced Headset adapter to have decent sound with the headset I already own..... Whatever Microsoft you keep shooting yourself in the root over and over, you are losing
ground every day with your most loyal fans.

Xbox One Stereo Headset/Adapter not loud enough? Help.

The two buttons on the left of the adapter adjust game vs chat audio balance. The two on the right turn the volume up and down. If you think the Xbox Stereo Headset isn't loud enough, you should probably be concerned more with your poor hearing than the volume levels.

Your Turtle Beach X12 headset used an USB for power, and also has controls for sound levels. The Stereo Headset Adapter has only an 3.5 mm, 4 pole, Audio jack for phone plug. The adapter has Controls include volume up/down, microphone mute, and game/chat
balance. I would say buy another headset, MS has one for 79.99 with adapter.

 

These Canadian prices are from future shops website.

 

The MSRP is a suggested price. The individual stores set the cost when they put them on the shelves.

 

I would guess that the $50 price tag is just a placeholder until the product is released. Otherwise that's just insane, and I hope they didn't buy too much stock because it won't be moving anywhere fast..

 

I'm pretty sure its not a place holder I sent FutureShop a message and they replied saying the MSRP. Is 99$ and 49$ set by Microsoft and is not likely to change.

Well I hope those are the prices on the Microsoft store are not place holders for Canada because FutureShop said the price was set by Microsoft.. Guess they were lieing? I have no problem paying a bit more that the Canadian dollar has dropped but I just
want a fair price not price gauging Canadians to make up costs for other parts of the XBOX Division.

 

Stores have an MSRP to go by. This is what the manufacturer recommends the product sell for. A store is not going to buy something for 49.99 and sell it for that price. They must make a profit too. So, with this in mind let's presume the MSRP is what
the MS store has listed. $24.99. Stores like Futureshop buy the product and mark it up enough for themselves to make a profit. In this case $49.99.

Voila!!! Now Futureshop has made a profit of $20 per item.

 

Hey guys, Just to clear this up, Future Shop's website is and was showing the correct Canadian pricing. The

Xbox One Headset Adapter is $29.99 and the
Stereo Headset (which includes the adapter) is $79.99.

If you saw different pricing on their website before, it was in error.
