xbox one charger adaption is garbage,

of course i only started playing xbox one after the warranty died, but my controller and many others i have heard, charger ports have bent so you unable to charge using the usb cord, and forced to use batteries,

Switched from 360 to ps3 (adapter question)

So I've always been on xbox 360 until recently. I'm not happy with the ps3 controller since its so small, so I decided to buy an adapter so I can use my 360 controller on ps3. The issue here is that my controller is wireless, and needs to be connected to the adapter via usb. I don't want to go out of my way to buy a new wired controller, but I was wondering if anyone knows if I would be able to still do this if I buy this: http://www.gamestop.com/xbox-360/accessories/xbox-360-play-and-charge-kit/40650
I'm thinking that if I plug that charger into my wireless controller, and have the usb of the charger thats supposed to go in my xbox into the adapter and then plug the adapter into the ps3 that it would still work? Thanks

 

Xbox One is Garbage!

It might be different if Xbox actually had some decent exclusives, but they haven't even come close to competing with Sony or Nintendo for the best games over the last few years. That's one of the reasons I sold my Xbox One, there was just no point in keeping
it when I have a PS4 and a Switch. I tried it out for several months, but quite frankly there just wasn't anything special about it.

 

Charger ports have bent! How did that happen?

If your in the UK, try somewhere like Argos, they sell Energizer 4 x AA Batteries + Charging Kit for under £10.

I use these, excellent battery life, fully charges in about 3 hours, well worth it in my opinion.

Yep you just plug them into the wall socket!

So while you have 2 batteries in your controller, you can have the other 2 charging.

On average I get 2 days worth of gaming ( not 24 hours a day ) off of one charge. Once low, just replace with charged batteries, charge the other 2 and I never worry about not having power

 

I'm still using the MS charge and play on both of my controllers for almost 2 years now. They are a tight fit plugging them in but other than that mine work great. I used to use rechargable batteries in the 360's controller but changed to the charge and
play kit . I prefer the charge and play option myself.

best thing ever, have had them since 2012 on the 360. still last me about 4-5 days on one charge and charge overnight

 

Use Duracell rechargeables and get about a weeks gaming out of em, gaming pretty much every night of the week.

 

Ditto. Finally had to get another set of Duracell as the set I bought about 5 years ago for the 360 finally gave up the ghost.
