Xbox One case replacement

Hi, few weeks ago I bought a used Xbox One from a friend of mine. It works perfectly fine, the only problem is that the glossy part of the external case is full of scratches due to the usage over the time. The console still has a year of warranty from Microsoft
(plus a 2 year warranty extension from Gamestop) so I wanted to know if I can send the console to the repair service and ask for a replacement and how much would it cost. Many thanks.

Faulty controller - need to return for replacement.

That would be the case. They might even offer you a replacement first, and you send it back to them after you receive your replacement. I'm not sure how the replacements for the Xbox One are being handled at this point in time.

Wish we could help with this however there's something you should know about warranties. They are non-transferable. When you got the console from your friend the warranty does not come with you. Any issues you have with the console will need to be paid
out of pocket by you.

If you are interested in seeing about getting a new case for the console you should contact phone support and see what they suggest. If you live in North America you should dial 1-800-469-9269

In that case the disc is damaged and you should replace it

I created case with Support and sent in my broken Xbox One controller to later get a replacement sent back to me. Via tracking, they received it on Nov 27th. It's been a week now and there has been no update to the case. Did anyone receive their replacement
yet?

I don't mind the cases being what they are, they all sit on a shelf no matter what color they are.
