    Xbox One carga afterglow headset and Xbox one wireless headphones stopped working last week.


    Last week the carga afterglow headphones that I have used for year on my Xbox one suddenly stopped receiving and transmitting through the Xbox one. I thought it was maybe a bad cable between the headphones and the controller so I tried the original chat
    headset and mike that came with the Xbox and it transmits but does not receive. So this morning I went out and bought a new set of turtle Beach 420s which are wireless and hooked them up. Still no sound through the headphones. All was fine up until last
    week I've never had any trouble now I can't get any sound from the Xbox games through the headphones. Spent an hour and a half on the phone with support and we tried everything to no avaIl. I can't believe that three sets of headphones and two controllers
    can all have the same problem. The sound all works fine on the television that the Xbox is hooked up to just no sound to the headphones. At supports recommendation I am going to take the headphones and controllers to game stop this afternoon and test them
    to make sure they all work with Another Xbox.

    Keep in mind: bluetooth headsets do not work on any Xbox One console. No console has bluetooth functionality.

    There are plenty of wireless headsets available for Xbox One, but they do usually cost upwards of $80-200. Typically, it's going to be a pair of surround-sound headphones with a mic, and it connects to the Xbox through a receiver that either plugs into the
    console's optical audio port or USB.

    There are no wireless chat-only headsets (with one speaker to the ear) as far as I know. The closest match I can recommend for you would be the

    PDP Afterglow AG 9    .

    The Wireless Afterglow Headsets are the one of the only headsets that seem to just refuse to work in any capacity with Xbox One. Some people have gotten them to work by connecting the receiver directly to their TV but their are some TV brands where this
    simply will not work (Samsung).

    these     (ATH-PDG1), and they are fantastic. I like open-air headphones sometimes, and these are certainly the best ones I've found for the price - but I can understand why some people wouldn't like them. I used to have a pair of

    these     (Afterglow AG9+), but compared to the pair I have now, those felt so cheaply made (it was the plastic headband that snapped, actually) and didn't sound as good.
