XBOX ONE can't switch off

Hi, my Xbox one developed strange issue, i can't turn it off.

I can select from the menu - turn console off, its starting to turn off, but as soon as it completely turned on, its boots up again.

only solution is to unplug power completely, which is not very convenient.

Additionally when I am plugging power it, its immediately starts to turn on, but with multiple console starting sounds. It seems like Power button is being pressed all the time. its a sensor button, so it shouldn't be a button issue as far as I understand.

Can't play video because tv or mointor does not support copy protection error. If u have your xbox one connected to a HDMI switch box. Turn off switch box, then xbox one, then turn on xbox one first, next the switch box.

 

Xbox One switches off

I have just finished connecting up my xbox one only to find that after it boots, I get the green screen and xbox logo plus sound, but then the machine just shuts off. Not once in any attempt has it even looked like going further than that. Any ideas?

 

If wiping a cloth across the powerbutton doesn't work (to make sure there's nothing on there causing the button to be constantly pressed) then I suggest getting a repair, this seems like a hardware issue.

If that suggestion doesn't work and before setting up for a repair and you have tried holding the power button on the console for an extended period without success. I would suggest unplugging the power from the back of the console for 5 minutes then restarting

I tried to swipe and clean as much as possible, but it was never dirty. I am unplugging it every night and its not helping
