XBox One can't start games with Addons installed

Not sure if this is the right place to do this but my Xbox One system does not seem to be able to start a game if I have addons for that game installed. I first started seeing this issue with Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. I started with the Preorder Bonus (the
Tao vehicle and Goku Black) and it worked fine. After I downloaded the free mentors DLC I first started encountering the problem. When I would try to launch the game it would come up with the first screen you see when launching the game then it should close
that and bring up a message saying that it was getting my game ready and would start in a few moments. Then it would bring up an error message with an error code. After a while I figured out a convoluted way of getting it to work. After putting the game down
for a while I attempted to re-launch it only to get the same error message only now it completely skips the initial launch screen and goes straight to "trying to start the game." Deciding that DBX2 was a lost cause I started installing the season pass content
for Assassins Creed Syndicate. After I entered the code I attempted to start ACS and It did the same exact thing even though it was working with no problem before I installed the season pass information. It would stand to reason then that the problem is that
my system has a problem with anything that isn't the base game for the most part. I'd really rather not erase one-time downloads but I will if I have to. Does anyone have any other idea's that might work?

missing addons

I bought a couple addons for the game hawken from the xbox one store on mt xbox and the addons show as installed but they are not showing up in game...any ideas?

Can't start Dawnguard after download

Hi,

I bought Dawnguard over the download store. But after the addon are downloaded the start button can't be selected.

Why? I tried to redownload the game addon but the play button is still unavailable.

it sounds like you need to power down you console completely, then reset. if they still give you issues, clear your local save data.

You can't install Minecraft Addons on the Xbox console through the Internet Browser.

The console only allows addons adn texture packs from the official Minecraft Store inside the game.

You can only use these add ons that you download through a browser on your Windows 10 PC.

Try uninstalling the addons and check if the game works. This is to know whether this issue is due to a bug in one of the addons or the game itself. If it's the game, try re-installing it.
