XBox One - Can't reset after stuck update

Hi, my Xbox One started updating, and hung during the 'applying' section. It then gave an error E208. I've tried restarting, but it just hangs again at the same point. I've tried downloading the offline update, and applying that from USB. That gives error
E102. I've tried downloading the offline USB reset file, that gives E101. If I try to choose the 'reset' option from the troubleshooting option (whether keep games, or wipe all), it just reboots & goes back to 'applying update'.

How can I reset, when even choosing reset doesn't actually reset it!

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to deal with this issue. I can totally understand how this could be pretty discouraging. Unfortunately, if you have tried all the previously posted troubleshooting steps, then the only means to deal
with the problem from this point would be for you to get the console replaced.

But when i do that, it says that Microsoft no longer repairs the Xbox one.

Thanks for the reply. If you have tried all, then we suggest setting up a repair. There may be a hardware issue at this point. You can go to

device support to set a repair up.

If you read my post, you'll see that I've already tried all those (short of sending it off for repair).
