xbox one cant hear party chat

This problem started for me this past weekend. Nothing changed with my router or my Xbox One, I went into the kitchen to grab a drink and when I came back no one could hear me. I can hear others and they can hear me in game chat, but when it comes to party
or Skype others can hear me but I can't hear them. So far I have reset my router, my modem, hard reset my Xbox One, unplugged my Xbox One over night. I haven't been able to try it yet, but has anyone found a solution for this yet?

ETA: My NAT is open

So I finally figured my problem out. If you have one of the xbox chat adapters check and make sure you press the button with the person looking icon on it. That some how managed to mute everyone so I couldn't hear them. I don't recall hitting the button
but that is what worked to fix my issue.

I dont want to use party chat/the Xbox one headset. Even if I did when were in a xbox one party we cant hear each other in that even with party chat "turned on"

when i take out the wire from the xbox 1 controller i can hear them what is going on

There was a brief outage of some of the party services. If you are still experiencing a problem go ahead and do a hard reset on your console. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power
cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational test for results. Let us know. Good Luck!
