    Xbox one can’t get an IP address


    I have tried everything! I reset my entire console and nothing helps. I cleared MAC. I restarted my router.
    I go to type in my internet password and it comes up “Can’t get an IP address.” I tried both of our internets and everything else in the house works fine on our internet. Please help!!! Also, when i try to click a game it says “person who bought this needs to sign in.”

    Hi,

    Did you try to set up a static IP address instead of using DHCP? Here is how to do it just in case.

    Got it did a hard reset on my xbox after that, and seemed to work.

    I did reser my router and still doing the same thing. Tired connecting my computer and other devices to check. They work.

    Have you tried to reset your router or contact your internet service provider?
