Xbox One can't connect to internet for over 3 weeks.

Basing on the error messages you provided me above; it seems like your console was not able to get any network connection and it is not about the update. Can you please try to use other connection such us mobile date hotspot, wi-fi, or LAN?

If the issue persists, I highly suggest you contact Linksys support so that they can help you set your correct AP network connection so that you can connect back to your network.

Reset has no effect.

New Cat5 cable had no effect.

Xbox DID connect to the Linksys before one of the upgrades but not after.

Xbox would not connect unless I switched to the Netgear AP. Then after connecting and allowing some sloooowwww downloads,

complained that the setting were wrong. Hasn't connected since even though I've tried all the security settings in the Netgear.

New problem. This AM, from the home page, clicking on 'Settings' does not open Settings. Makes a sound, just won't open.

Routers firmware is up to date.

Test Connect page: 'It's all good' 'Your console is connected to the Internet' shown.

Clicking 'Continue' brings up a page that says "You're not online". As I asked BEFORE, why all the contradictory messages?

Settings just started working again.

This really looks like the last UPDATE is buggered and has too many mistakes to be helpful.

HOW DO I WALK BACK TO THE LAST UPDATE OR FLUSH AND RESTORE?

Apparently, switching from AP to AP helped somewhat. Despite all the contradictory messages.

I did a full reset and was eventually able to get the downloads I was seeking. No idea which action worked, the reset or moving to a different AP using the same source connection for internet. I did get the sense that Xbox designers did not like and FOSS devices and I use an OpenWRT AP connected to a tethered cell phone. Took hours of work to advance very far.

Very poor soft/firmware that displays such nonsense as when checking Network connections. all the contradictory messages. all the contradictory messages.

This message: Test Connect page: 'It's all good' 'Your console is connected to the Internet' displayed by Xbox is nonsense and apparently meaningless.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:



1. Restart your Xbox One and your router/access point. Sometimes, a simple restart can fix connectivity issues.



2. Check your network cables and make sure they are securely plugged in. If possible, try a different cable.



3. Check your router/access point settings to make sure that your Xbox One is allowed to connect to the network. You may need to check the MAC address filtering settings.



4. Try connecting your Xbox One directly to your router/access point using an Ethernet cable, instead of using a wireless connection.



5. Check for any firmware updates for your router/access point and install them if avail.
