XBOX ONE cannot see my wifi?

please help our Xbox One cannot see my wifi, I have been previously connected however been on holiday and now wil not.

sometimes it sees the wifi but will not connect

anyone have any suggestions please?

Friend list didnt work

I cant see my friends on xbox one, my friends cannot see them too.

Not all owned Xbox 360 content showing up

On my "Home" Xbox One I see everything to download from Xbox One games to Xbox 360 games. However if I am logged into my other Xbox One which is not set as a "Home" Xbox One I cannot see everything.

I have had this problem many times. On holidays everyone always gets the video game they always wanted or a new Xbox. This results in a very crammed server. This has nothing to do with the strength of your wifi, the Xbox Live server gets crammed, therefore
you can not use the wifi because there are way too many people using it. So far I do not know any solutions but I was back online the next day. Another scenario could be that Xbox Live is down the console has been unplugged. The Xbox should connect automatically
but if not you can test the wifi and it will tell you the problem.

Sorry you're having issues with your wifi. Xbox Live status really doesn't have anything to do with your WiFi detection. First try a hard reset. With the Xbox on hold the power button down for 10 seconds until it's off. Then turn it back on to test. If that
doesn't work go into your router, and first change the channel of your wifi. There could be some interference. If that doesn't work try changing the type of security. Your choises are likely WEP WPA and WPA2. I recommend doing WEP last as its the least secure.
If you have problems making these changes please contact your ISP or router manufacturer for support.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Good thing you have already restarted your router but would it be okay if we perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware according to Xbox's steps? Here you go:

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

I am having the same problem. I determined it was the Xbox One destroying the wifi connection. Could you try this and report back if you see the same problem?

So get a phone or ipad and run a speed test while connected to your wifi. www.speedtest.net

Get a baseline from some area in your home

Place the device on the Xbox one plugged in and run the test

Fully unplug the Xbox One from the outles and wait for the yellow power brick light to shutoff

Run the test again.

My results were staggering. The Xbox One is causing so much interference to my Wifi other devices (xbox 360) cannot connect to the wifi.

i just bought a new Xbox One, and i cannot connect to the wifi, i cannot update it cause i cannot connect to the wifi, and i don't even know what to do at the moment, any help please.
