    XBox One Developer Mode

    Hi All,

    I am a Quality Assurance Tester and I need to get my XBox One Dev kit up and going, so that I can QA my clients test builds.

    Right now I am completely unable to get the XBox One Manager Tool to detect / communicate with my Dev Kit, which is preventing me from loading any builds.

    However, the XBox One Dev Mode Companion (preview) tool works without any problem.

    I am running Febuary 2015 XDK QFE1: Version 6.2.1.3.6 on my XBox One Dev Kit

    I am running ADK 6.2.12136.0 on my Windows 10 Machine

    Both machines are hooked up to the same switch via Ethernet.

    I have no Firewalls or security blocking traffic.

    When I try to run the ADK commands (xbconnect, xbprovision) I get this error (0x8000001E). I also get this error when trying to get the XBox One Smart Glass to connect.

    Might be note worthy that I am able to run the Xbox Neighborhood Tool and deploy builds to my XBOX 360 Dev Kit without any issues at all, and have been doing so for years... Its just this XBOX One that is being a problem.

    Any help would be very much appreciated!

    Xbox One Can now be a Dev Kit (Preview)

    Puts feet up on desk..... grabs a cold drink and some popcorn... and waits for the "Dev kit app has ruined my Xbox 1" threads.......

    It is recommended to wait for the summer release of this app.....

    Finally,people who think this gen got the worst games ever created,can make their own "masterpieces" without any bugs,glitches,microtransactions,dlc,episodic content,ect.....Can wait to see the result.

    If it was a dev kit the game was running on then the power consumption should be significantly higher than the retail unit. I wouldn't judge the Xbox One's consumption based off of a dev kit.

    Dev kits usually have more ram than the actual console since they are going to be running the development software and the game at the same time.
