Modem brand & model number: I have a Modem/Router combined thing.

Router brand & model number: ****. SBG6782-HH

How many consoles do you have connected to this router? Only one so far, I want to connect my 360 which was connected before my Xbox One.

Wired or wireless (for each console): Wired Xbox One, and Wireless Xbox 360.

If Wireless, are you using a white or black external adapter, or an internal (Xbox 360S) adapter? Internal, but I also own (Not using it) a grey/black adapter.

Things you have tried: Changing IP's on both consoles. Extending my IP Range in my router settings, and a bunch more stuff I can't think of.

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown: I did not enable it, but my router doesn't have an option to.

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type? Nat type is Open. No Nat errors.

Any Error Codes you encounter: None, just "Live Connection Error"

Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)? Shaw

After you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" press “Y” for "More Info”. In the pop-up that appears, what are the following values, if shown? (If a value below does not appear for you, just leave it blank.)

please guys i want to connect to xbox live but when i press test xbox live connection it connects only to the network ( wired connection) and doesn"t connect to the internet and xbox live. Please i am suffering SINCE THREE DAYS please help

it fails right when it tries to connect to xbox live.

When I hit test connection, the adapter connects to the router, but doesn't connect to the internet, so it can connect to Live. That's where it fails.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Does the Xbox 360 provide you with an error message when it fails to connect to the network? Also, does it fail when connecting to network, internet or Xbox Live? We have an article entitled

it is DIR-655. and yes it got through connecting to the internet and when connecting to xbox live it failed

It can connect to the network, it connects to the internet and it fails when trying to connect to Xbox Live. However, it registers that Xbox Live and all of it's other social media hubs are online. I get a big red X through the connecting dots/line.
