Xbox One "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" STILL won't work on Campaign Mode, even when I own...

It seems as if I'm taking crazy pills, because everything that I've tried still does not work. It should be that if I own the disc, I can simply insert it into my console and start playing. Microsoft/Activision/Infinity Ward, YOU NEED TO FIX THIS. The

...yet you still haven't fixed the issue. Thanks for nothing Brad. If you must have a Gold Membership in order to play Campaign Mode, then that's probably something that you should tell us upfront. You need to create an option to download the data packs
without having a Gold Membership. This is ridiculous, and a big black eye on Microsoft.

As ScubaSteve4 said very well in the last thread, this is all a microtransactional Pyramid scheme:

So like you all I wanted to do was play the Campaign but experienced the same issues as everyone else. But after all the forums and YouTube videos I found and read it came down to this.

- You need an XBOX Live Gold account. So I used the free 14 day one I got with my Xbox One X. If you already have one then this can be skipped. Don't kill the messenger just giving everyone the steps that worked for me as I have spent 4 days getting this
to work myself.

- You need to create an Activision Account. I am dumb and I should have used a disposable email for this so I would suggest this.

- You need to initiate 3 more downloads from the game itself (as if 5 were not enough). This is Data Pack 1 Multiplayer pack 2 and Special Ops Pack 2. Funny this points you to the M$ Store but I guess it needs to send you there via the game. Data Pack
1 is probably the only one you will need if you only want Campaign access but may as well waste some more bandwidth and get them all while you can.

- Reboot the Xbox once all are downloaded and installed.

Low and behold Single Player Campaign now works. Can also play campaign in offline mode as well.

To me this is just a Pyramid scheme involving Activision, Micro$oft and Infinity Ward to fleece more money out of already paying customers. No one said in any forum or video you needed a Gold Account for this but from the video's I saw on YouTube most people
had a Gold account and only cared about Multiplayer hence the reason they left out the Gold Account requirement. I do not think this is a M$ issue as such but more Activision/Infinity Ward microtransaction ****.

Someone in a Reddit post said "the only thing people are not complaining about is that microtransactions are still working"

Hope this helps you all and try to enjoy the biggest waste of internet bandwidth and data usage of a game when you finally do get it to work.
