XBOX ONE - Call of Duty Edition no longer works

A couple of years ago, I purchased a XBOX ONE Call of Duty edition. I do not recall the email address/username that I assigned it, but I did use my name for the registration. I installed the Call of Duty Advance Warfare by redeeming the code on the card
that it came with. One day the XBOX simply died. It would not turn on or anything. I decided to buy a new XBOX ONE S rather than spending money to repair the broken one. I would like to redeem the card so I can install in on my new XBOX ONE S, since my old
XBOX is dead. How can I do this successfully? I have searched everywhere and cannot find the answer. Microsoft will not allow me to call in no matter what option I choose under support. Can someone please help?

No. Nothing can be transferred/merged between accounts, but you can set the new console as the Home console for the old account and share the game with your new account.

If I do that, can I merge it onto my new email address?

Codes are 1 time use only. You can't use it to redeem the game on a new account. You would need the original account the code was redeemed on and can redownload it through that or you would need to purchase the game again.

You can try the steps here to try to recover the email you used to sign in on the original account and then
you would need to reset the password.

Alright so, it works now. Go on your Xbox One and look up the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Launch Edition. Should be free. Downloading mine right now.
