Xbox One Cable Box Setup

Hi Everyone,

I bought an Xbox one today hoping i would set it up in no time. Tv setup was very quick and simple, though the console never asked me to setup my cable box (for one guide). I went into the settings, went to the TV and Cable section and Devices and there
was no option to add a cable box.

Cable box model : Netgen n52001c8

Subscribed to Live : Yes

Connected to internet : Yes

Country : Malta

Service Provider : Melita plc.

Any Help would be much appreciated. Thanks in Advance

Does time warner cable work with xbox one?

go to you settings in the xbox one and setup your cable box.

 

Xbox one forgets cable box control codes after rebooting.

I have a Scientific Atlanta 8300HD Dvr from Comcast. I have tried both the automatic setup and the manual setup. After the setup the xbox/kinect will control the cable box perfectly. After I turn the console and have it turn the cable box off and have it
turn everything back on the xbox can't control the cable box anymore. If I tell it to change tv stations it will change it in the oneguide but not on the cable box.

 

It might be a feature that is not available in your region.
