    Xbox One Buzzing


    I have had my Xbox One for a little over a year. Today it started buzzing when I insert a disk- tried inserting game, and then tried inserting DVD. The console buzzes no matter the type of disk. Everything appears to be working; the console is still reading
    everything just fine. Is the buzzing something I need to be concerned about?

    So my friend mic is buzzing with xbox one controller what is 6 months old. Now he did get new because of that and it still buzzing. Its not buzzing with old xbox one controller.

    Xbox One Buzzing

    If you have the original generation Xbox One console, hopefully you don’t have it positioned
    vertically as that can potentially damage the disc drive, and “buzzing” could be one of the symptoms. This Xbox One console is only meant to sit horizontally.

    If you have the Xbox One S, then see if changing the orientation of the console (vertical or horizontal) stops the buzzing. Maybe something is loose inside?

    Buzzing tells me that something inside of the disc drive is grinding against something. That can be damaging to the disc or the internal drive components. It would be a matter of time until something gives and finally stops working. By then, you’ll have to
    send it in to Microsoft to get the console serviced.

    Uhh, the Xbox shouldn't buzz at all unless it's installing a disc while you are playing said game. And even then it should be more like a phone vibrating, in a pattern. You may just have a defective one if it's buzzing.

    I have the same problem with Farming Simulator, not even playing online. Buzz, lock-up, restart 3 or 4 times in a row every time. So, evidently it's not a connection issue.
