Xbox One Buzzing, Squeaking noise..

Hello all,

This problem started today on my Xbox One.

It keeps giving me a Buzzing, Squeaking noise.

I've turned my Xbox One by the main plug etc and still having the same problem.

I've done a hard shut-down twice and still having the same problem.

Contacting Xbox support and they said there is a fault with my Xbox One, it's 3-4 months old now.

Could this be the fan giving me the Buzzing, Squeaking noises? Would it be worth checking it over clean the dust etc?

Don't fancy taking it the shop because I wont get a replacement, new one for like 2-3 weeks? :'(

Controller - Left Trigger Squeaking?

I just returned the controller that came with my system because the casing was popping off and there was a loud buzzing noise when ever it rumbled. Gamestop took it back and gave me a brand new one with no problem. But guess what, the right trigger makes
a God awful squeaking noise! WTH MS?!?

 

Xbox one fan squeaking

Xbox one fan squeaking often anyway to fix it? Got it back in November during Black Friday but that darn squeaking noise so annoying when watching tv.

 

As you already have phoned the service and they told you it's faulty I'd urgently recommend to have it serviced. Even if it's the fan you can not fix the problem by yourself as you would have to open the one which makes your warranty void. So better have
it service before it breaks totally.

You better have it serviced directly by Microsoft as this is a bit faster then have it serviced at your retailer, as he sends it over to Microsoft as well. If you trigger a service at
http://myservice.xbox.com the console will be picked up and then be serviced. Of course you will be without it for up to 3 or 4 weeks but usually you get a month of gold subscription as refund for this.

I've noticed my Xbox One could be over heating because when I turn my Xbox One off the power light flashes couple of times and it takes around 5-10 seconds for the Xbox One console to turn off, could this be over heating?

 

Afaik is possible that it keeps the fan alive for some additional cooling so this may be the case. Especially where you think that the fan may be faulty. That's why I urgently recommend to have your One serviced.
