XBOX ONE BUZZING NOISE

I have come to notice that when my Xbox one isn't even switched on it sometimes makes a loud buzzing noise, kind of reminds me of the old internet dial up connection noise, if I were to put that noise in letters it would be a bunch of "zeee's".

I have a external Hard drive connected so im assuming that it is power related issue. If there is anyway to prevent this then any solutions are welcome.

Xbox One ticking while disc is playing

My xbox one is making a buzzzing noise when I play Madden 25 in it. When using any other feature is functions fine. The buzzing noise is not as prominent as the loud disc drive clicking noises i've seen on youtube. Is anyone else experiencing this buzzing
noise?

What do you mean by "buzzing sound"?

Is it a buzzing noise coming from your laptop's cooling fans (or other components)? Or is it a buzzing noise from the Xbox gameplay stream?

To test the console and find the source of the sound let's have you try the following:

• Remove the external hard drive.
• Ensure the console is plugged into a wall outlet and not any form of extension cable or power strip.
• Plug the console into a new outlet.
• Ensure that the console is in an open well ventilated area with no walls close to any side of the console.
• Borrow a friend's power cable and test the console with a different cable or power supply.
