Amazon tells another story. The $399 xbox one is number 54 in the top one hundred video game items. Its getting outsold by the titan fall bundle. PS4 is number 8.

@nameloi-Im definitely getting a nintendo if the price drops...399 is expensive considering the specs.xbox without the kinect could have been done for 399.at that price I would buy.but 500? I will have to wait for a 2nd year price drop.

Lol! I am not amazon pro but do they have to honour the price if someone grabbed it whilst they made an error?

 

Cloud, I think there are regulations that an establishment has to honor a posted price, otherwise it's "bait-n-switch." However, there must be some limitations as well, as if they accidentally posted it for $5, they shouldn't be expected to honor that...

Don't know the logistics, though!

@Bird - Could be. If MS reaches price equilibrium with the competition in this space, it nullifies the one true advantage the competition has. All the 1080p hubbub is a paper tiger, but price really matters to consumers. Should be interesting!
