Xbox one bug noticed with headset/controller connection. Help?

ok, just recently I was playing forza horizon 2 and I left my xbox while I went to do something else. When I returned I noticed the pad had gone off because I'd left it over the 10 minute time out. The headset that came with my xbox one was connected at
the time. I was faced with a message on the screen saying that the controller had become disconected and to re connect and press A to continue. I did this, the controller re connected, but it was not working! I ended up having to power cycle my Xbox for the
controller to work again.

i tried this again but without the headset in and the problem doesn't occur, so iv come to the conclusion that if the headset is plugged into the pad and you turn the controller off, It will not properly connect. I have only tried this while playing forza
horizon 2 so I would appreciate it if someone could try this for me and repot back if the experience the same issue?

Headset problems help please.

so the past month my headsets have been acting up lately. I got 2 standard mics. The ones that come in with Xbox One. And 1 turtle beach headset, and the official Xbox One headset. All of them havent been working good lately. They either get choppy or some
don't work at all. I checked my network connection. Everything is fine with that. I checked to see if I needed to update my controller and to aseign my controller to that headset/mic. It wasnt that. I have a feeling that the bugs from the Xbox Preview Program
could be the cause of all of this. What do you guys think? Help appreciated.

Modern WF 3 Headset for 360

I have used mine with it. You have to go with the wired connection instead of wireless though. Also I noticed my controller disconnecting quite a few times while using the adapter and headset.

I have the same problem as you every time that controller is disconnected I have to power cycle my console and I think it's probably software issue not hardware they should release new update for controller or something

Thanks for the replies. I'm sorry to hear the issue is persistent. To help clarify, have you tried a different headset and/or controller? What headset are you using?

If the issue persists, try the Microsoft Headset Adapter to help make the 3rd party headset compatible with the Xbox One. Currently our team is working on a fix to help align 3rd party headsets.
