Xbox One Browser Problem

my Xbox one browser has been hijacked by a virus! I can't get the page back until I call and pay! Usual scam. How can I clear browsing data, Cache to get rid of this please?

What are you expecting in the "Future Of Xbox"?

I would like a better browser. PS3 already has one and its ok, definitely better than Internet Explorer on Xbox. I just want one that runs smoothly and can do anything a real browser can. I get more out of my browser on my cell phone.

Whilst having Edge open simply press the Menu button and click on settings then delete history.

The worst part of this browser is have to hit b button many many times just to go back one single page the old xbox one browser never had this problem.

They don't have Google Chrome for Xbox One yet. We're still waiting for it to arrive in the MS Store as more than an installer interface for the Chrome program.

If you want to suggest this to Microsoft use the Feedback Hub app in Start Menu where developers are tasked to process consumer feedback and may interact with you. But Microsoft will not even see it here because this is a tech forums where we are mostly volunteers
trying to help solve your problems.

I have used one of the free ones previously, because edge wouldn't access a site I used, at the time. It wasn't fantastic as it was free. There are ones you can purchase too. As I said to the OP, don't know if it would resolve their problem but worth a
look.

As Edge on the Xbox, is a console app, it will update to a release as necessary. You can not add a Windows 10 version of edge.

As for browsers, all I can suggest is open up the store on console and search for browser. It will bring up some apps, how good they are and if they would solve your issue, I wouldn't know.
