    I recently just had to send my Xbox One in for service, because I had a failed disc drive. It would no longer read any games. I setup the claim with support and sent my console off.

    Today, I finally receive my console back, and hooked everything up and powered it on. I got the Xbox One screen and 15 seconds later I get the System Error Contact Support. Error Code at the bottom is E305 00000001 80073CFE.

    I called Xbox support, and got the most useless representative on the phone, who kept stating she was about to get off work, and basically accomplished nothing with me. She had me reboot the console, unplug it and power on, hold the power button for 5 seconds
    reboot, etc. Nothing worked, leading to the same error. She then put me on hold for another 5 minutes, came back and told me she doesn't know whats going on, and that she was supposed to get off work a little bit ago.

    She then tells me to go to xbox.com and try troubleshooting for updating my console and to call back if it didn't work and then proceeded to end the call.

    Needless to say, my console is still broken, and i am EXTREMELY UNHAPPY.

    I have already been without a console for 2 weeks, and now it seems like I may have to send it in again which is more time wasted.

    The thing that bothers me the most, is that obviously no one checked to see if my console worked before sending it back to me. No one did any sort of quality control there and now Me, the customer has to *** over again for another few weeks.

    Anyways, any of you know what to do about my issue? Should I call back in and hope I get someone who doesn't mind working late?

    After i update my xbox one it was all fine then when I turned it off and later turned it back on it an system error came up with a code E305 00000001 80073CFE. How do I fix it? Please help.

    Dealing with customer support has been a nightmare. I have yet to accomplish anything today. I am extremely fed up with everything microsoft, right now.

    I followed the unplug and plug back in routine to no success.. i can't go on Offline System Update Diagnostic Tool

    because it takes me immediately to the error screen.. and after waiting for over hour + the calling centers closed on me..

    My son has the same problem, brand new Xbox one! Turn it on to the green screen for a few seconds then a black screen saying contact Xbox cust service, system error code e305 00000001 80073cfe

    Can't do n e thing with the *** thing, tried turning it off, unplugging it but makes no difference, seen the offline dignostic stuff but a pain in the ***, got better things to do Christmas morning, n e one found a solution to this??
