    Xbox one broke my tv


    A preview program update was installing on my Xbox, as my Xbox one went to reboot after update, my TVs screen turned black. I researched why and found out that the LED had blown in the tv. It cannot be a meer coincidence. I was talking to friend earlier
    and he thinks it might be a power surge that blew my tv because of the Xbox update.

    Anyone else had this problem or want to weigh in?

    Xbox loses TV signal after using new media player

    Two hard reboots of the Xbox One, and one unplugging and replugging of the cable box later, still no TV Signal.

    I think the new media app and update broke my Live TV Xbox one broke my tv :(

    HDMI problem

    Sometime ago I had a problem with the HDMI of my Halo Reach limited edition Xbox 360 slim, I thought it was broken because it stopped displaying any image in my TV, my TV supported 1080i and since it broke I bought the VGA cables to plug my Xbox to a computer
    monitor. Everything worked fine but yesterday I brought my Xbox to my girlfriend's house and tried to plug it into her TV which is capable of 1080p through the HDMI and IT WORKED!! so the sucker is not broken but now that I know that the port works I want
    to find out WHY its not working on MY TV. I tried to restore the settings but nothing so... what should I do? how can I make my Xbox work with 1080i again with my TV?

    This just sounds like an unfortunate coincidence I can't see how the Xbox One update could cause a failure of the TV.

    It also could be because I have to update the Xbox One S. Hadn't played on it since my HDR TV broke. I just got a new one today.

    I no longer have a 360 but that option was always there.. it was here with the xbox one as well but this latest update broke it for whatever reason. My tv is at least 7 years old so not sure about a recent firmware update, but it just seems strange that
    all of a sudden this new update would effect this tv this way.

    have u checked all yours cables are connected into the tv and xbox and I would recormend trying another HDMI cable as your one may be broke
