Xbox one bright panel has bubbles!!!

Hi there.

My xbox one bright panels has to many scratch but that's no problem.but it has to many bubbles!!!!!!!!!

what can I do?

Happy Birthday to me... I bought a new gaming Monitor.

Hate to bust your bubble, but that monitor isnt true HDR. Its brightness is only capable of 350 Nits max, 280 Nits normal and its not a 10 bit panel, its 8 bit + A-FRC.

There are true monitors out there, but few of them. The Samsung 49” 32:9 is one of them, with a true 10bit panel and 600 nits(which is still not full HDR spec at 1000 nits), though its only 3840x1080, due to its form factor. Though, its one of the few monitors rated for true HDR.

Im not sure if the new ones from CES came out yet, but there are some on the way if not.

Truthfully, for that price you could have bought a decent TV at 55” with very little lag.

Though, if you are happy with it, thats all that matters. I just wanted to inform you that you have better choices for that price. Especially in TV space.

If i understand you you're talking about the console surface itself.As far as i know there is nothing you can do.

One of my crazy friends cover Xbox with a plastic roll witch use for cover foods or ... And I pull I off.

then turn down the brightness on the nvidia driver control panel or under display options, you basically have adjusted your screen brightness so you cannot see how bright the game actually is, the capturing comes from the gpu direct not what you see on the display.

it's a VA panel, they get the same thing on PC, it's a lottery if you get one that does not do it, setting at 60hz or disabling freesync fixes the issue, it is definitely a common VA panel type issue, i had a 32" va 144hz panel that drove me nuts.

It's when the fps drops below the freesync range or has multiple drops and causes the brightness to flicker, happens more on loading screens but can happen in demanding games too.

the higher the hz the brighter the va panel gets and obviously when it drops it flickers and they usually hate lfc too.

plenty of forums about the issue, just check out blur busters for it too.

Hello,

My xbox one x has an issue with loading games in HDR. When a game or netflix starts up. My screen dims dark. Like it fade away. All colours are dark and not bright.

I have a 4K/HDR tv with a 10 bit panel. And it doenst work.

I tried everything. Switching settings from my tv and xbox, hard reset, different HDMI 2.0 port and cabel. Only HDR in 8 bit mode doenst go dark. But I know my TV has an working 10 bit panel that works with other content beside my xbox one x.

Same here. It looks as if you have screen dim on as a power saving feature. The problem with this bug is that dims the screen as soon as you start and play an hdr game or app.
