XBOX One breaks HDMI control with Pioneer system

Hi folks, I could really use some help with this issue. My XBOX One has broken my HDMI control set up.

I have a pioneer tv (PDP 6020FD), a pioneer receiver (SC-27), and a pioneer blu-ray player (BDP-51FD), all connected with HDMI cables. This set up works great using pioneer's HDMI control, called. Kuro Link. I have all of the components, except the TV, hidden
in a cabinet. When using HDMI Control (kuro link) I am able to control the receiver and bluray player using the TV's remote. It works great, and the changes made with the TV remote to the other components display on the TV. I also have an Apple TV and a Directv
genie hooked up to the receiver via HDMI. Everything worked great until I added the XBOX One. With the xbox connected to the receiver with HDMI, the HDMI control of the other components is completely broken.

I have tried many things to correct this issue. I do not have a kInect, so initially I didn't set up TV control. I have switches HDMI input terminals on the receiver, and that didn't fix the problem. I have changed the xbox setting for color bit rate, with
no fix. I have set the xbox to HDMI output rather than auto, with no fix. I have set the xbox up by programing in my model of TV, receiver, and directv box, and that didn't fix it. I have set up the TV control settings for sending off and on signals to 'nothing'
for everything, and that didn't fix it. I tried to use a different HDMI cable, but it won't out out video. I am wondering if this is because the Microsoft supplied cable does seem to have slightly longer ports.

i have not tried hooking the HDMI cable out from the xbox directly to the TV because the cable isn't long enough to reach and my longer cable doesn't seem to work with the xbox. I will probably try this set up this weekend, but it is not ideal as I loose
    the uncompressed audio.

i really want to get this working, as otherwise I have to keep the xbox unhooked from my system, and then hook it in to play. Obviously that is a pain, and the Xbox should just work, like the Apple TV and Directv box.

if you have a solution, please let me know. Otherwise the xbox may be exchanged this weekend, though I doubt a new one would fix the problem.

    :)

    Audio Receiver HDMI Input Selection

I have a Pioneer receiver (VSX1019AHK) and I need to set the receiver to the proper HDMI input when the Xbox One turns it on. I can not find this option. I use the Xbox 360 on HDMI 3 and the Xbox One on HDMI 1. I must physically go to the receiver and
change it or use the remote. It needs to become an option when turning on the system. It would be nice if the Xbox one could become a remote and control most features in your AV system. Why make me have to use the Logitech Harmony?

XBOX One breaks HDMI control with Pioneer system

I should mention that the XBOX One breaks the HDMI control just by being connected to the receiver. Even with the Xbox off, it still breaks the HDMI control of the other components.

HDMI Input causing intermittent Audio and Video signal loss issues

    1. Cisco ISB7500

    2. AT&T

    3. CISCO ISB7500 (HDMI) Xbox One (HDMI) Pioneer VSX-1021 (HDMI) LG LX6500

Removing the Xbox One eliminates the issue, and swapping HDMI cables into and out of the Xbox One does nothing. Signal loss is basically permanent now.

HDMI cable from Xbox One to receiver is the one provided with Xbox One, all other HDMI are insignia highspeed HDMI.

    Xbox One with Dish Hopper

I don't have the Hopper, I have the ViP 722, but the config should be the same. I have HDMI Out from the Dish DVR going to the HDMI In of the Xbox One. I then have an HDMI from the Xbox One passthru going to the TV. Although I do still have Audio Out
going from Dish DVR to the SAT/TV input for my Pioneer receiver, I'm actually using the Optical out from the Xbox to the optical input of the Pioneer receiver. I changed the Xbox One audio setting from the default to Dolby Digital. That, coupled with the
enhanced capabilities of the Pioneer receiver, I get fantastic audio from the system. I am able to turn on and off all components with voice commands. I am able to pull up the OneGuide, view and change channels with gesture or voice. I am able to pause,
rewind, fastforward TV with voice or gesture, too. So far, I've seen no issues controlling the ViP 722. Now, as others have said, that's about the extent of any control we have over satellite DVRs at the moment. I'd REALLY like to be able to pull up my
saved shows and watch them without having to use the DVR remote, but maybe that will come with future updates.

How do you have your Xbox One connected?

DirecTV box going into a HDMI splitter where one cable goes into the Xbox One and another directly into my Pioneer Elite AVR, which then goes to the 80" Sharp.

    Missing Pixels (checkerboard)

I switched out the stock HDMI cable that came with the XBOX ONE with a known good cable from Monster. It eliminated a lot of screen flickering an static interference.

***There will be a loss of signal strength for every additional components you hook up*** So having the best signal strength to start will help out dramatically.

My system is configured by HDMI Cables: Cable into the cable box; out to XBOX ONE; out to Pioneer Receiver; out to HDTV.
