    JuSt bought my Xbox one yesterday and am trying to play. I finally got wireless Internet connection but now the system update to even play won't update. And I have tried everything support said to try

    Brand new Xbox One S not doing start-up update.

    Just bought a new Xbox One S and trying to do the initial update that's about 1gb. It keeps popping up with an error saying that there's been an issue with the update, with the code 0x8923000a, which the Xbox doesn't seem to have listed ANYWHERE that I can

    Long start up time

    Ever since the update, my brand new Xbox takes at least a minute to start. Is there something I can change to get it to start up faster?

    More info:

    - I replayed one game in the Star Club

    The star count in the app was updated correctly. The one in the xBox account was not updated (I thought it's fair enough as the level should already be included in the 301 stars)

    - I played a brand new Star Club game (one I haven't played before)

    The star count in the app was updated correctly. The one in the xBox account wasn't even though I expected it to be updated.

    i couldnt even care if i keep my old one or lose anything even i have to connect a brand spanking new account and start again , but seems my only option to play anything ea related (as i cant login to any online services through ea anymore) is either pay for ea play on a new account or scrap my 11 year xbox live account and start everything again ...

    Update failed

    Console was brand new. There was no error code just a message, update failed, a system update is required to sign in to xbox live, but the update is currently unavailable. If the problem persists, visit www.xbox.com/support.

    Got this message on my old xbox and the brand new one.
