xbox one brand new fan noise problem

Hello guys,

I've bought today a brand new xbox one et i'm getting a noise inside the fan (like something is touching it).

I've seen a precedent topic had been closed ;

mine looks like that :

it is really dissapointing that on it's first day it's already having this type of problems.

I 've contacted MS and they can not send me a new one, they can't have my Credit card number right ... don't know why it's not working.

I have the feeling that I've just loose 400 $, i'll probably get it back next week see if I can get a refund.

If you have any solution please tell me.

my brand new xbox is making alot of noise

I just got a brand new xbox one and it keeps making a buzzing or loud fan noise when on and it carries on when turned off, anyone know how i can fix this?

Go bring it to the place you got it from with the receipt. If you have a warranty give it to them stating you want a new one or your money back, or call up customer service asking them for a repair request.

All Xbox One consoles come with a 12 month warranty. You are entitled to a brand new, working console with no noise or fan issues. Take it back to the retailer, get a refund or a replacement.

Another tip is to buy a brand new console that works and exchange it for the one that's causing you problems. The retailer will return the faulty console back to Microsoft free of charge.

I think I have the same problem with my gears xbox. Does it only happen when you play a game from the disc. It does sound like one of the fans making the noise when running a game disc. I bought mine from amazon and told them yesterday so they shipped me
a brand new one I'm hoping i don't have any problems with this one. It is a weird like whinying noise exactly like you described it and it doesn't happen all the time.

i have had the same problem. im also on 3rd xbox 360 E 250g within 3 months because of over heating and freezing plus an really load fan noise.

i am frustrated that i have to send the 3rd xbox of for repairs when its brand spanking new.
