Xbox one - Bought in US, using in UK

I have bought an Xbox One in the US and I would like to use it in the UK.

Using UK Xbox in the US

I have a UK bought Xbox360 which I brought with me to the US. I hooked it up and started using my gamertag I used in the UK and noticed that I didn't have Netflix etc. So I knew I couldn't change the region so I decided to play some Call of Duty Black Ops
online and even though I set preferences to local I kept getting connected to UK hosts which made the game lag badly for me.

I thought that maybe because it's a UK account that the servers will still think i'm in the UK. I made this gamertag that I am currently signed in with but it has a hotmail address ending in .co.uk. However, I have Netflix etc. on the dashboard now so i'm
sure this gamertag is a US region locked one. Sadly, I still get connected to UK players quite often on Black ops. Is this because my e-mail ends in .co.uk or is it because Treyarchs servers are just crap?

I have Xbox 360 from UK and recently i moved to US. i connect my xbox with a converter and it didnt start up. Its looks like you didnt had any problem with starting up. I knw their is different power supply but is there anything i can do to make it work
here?

 

You should never use a 3rd party device on your console as it is not covered by the Microsoft Warranty if something were to go wrong.

I would suggest contacting phone support and seeing if there's something they can do to get you a proper Xbox One power brick and plug.

I contacted xbox support and they told me they are not electrical experts so they advised me to go to an electronics shop and ask for help. When I did, they told me to buy that adapter (from the link). Is there anywhere we can get the official xbox uk adapter
from?

 

Ok, I'm sorry you did not get the correct answer from support. You can actually order the proper plug and power bar for the Xbox One console through them.
