Xbox One boots to a black screen then turns off

My original xbox one will turn on, go through the motions on the green screen with the logo and then boot to a black screen. It will then sit there for about 30 seconds before it turns off.

I've tried a hard reboot and even unplugged the power connection to reset it as well. Nothing has worked so far. I'm wondering if its a problem with the hard drive. I've had no problems with the system until now.

Xbox One takes multiple attempts to turn on.

If your console is not on stand by it takes longer to boot up. It will show the green screen with the loading dots and then go to a black screen for a minute then show the xbox logo. Are you turning it off on the black screen before the logo appears? If
you can turn it on then quickly hold the power button on the front of the console until it turns off then unplug it for 30 seconds from the outlet then plug back in and try powering back on again. Hopefully it will be able to boot up no problem.

 

Xbox one stuck at startup screen

I tried to turn on my Xbox One and it got to the starting green screen that says xbox one. It stayed there for around 20 minutes before going to a black screen with nothing on it. After 10 more minutes on that black screen it turns itself off and then
when I turn it back on it repeats.

I'd recommend going through the update troubleshooter here:
support.xbox.com/.../system-updates-solution

At the first step, go to "I need to update my system offline" and go from there.

 

So I tried as SN1P3R SK33T suggested but an now getting a screen that tells me something went wrong and the error code E200 00000074 00000000.

This is now the only screen I get when I turn on the Xbox even after a hard reset. Can anyone tell me what happened?
