  1. Xbox One booting up problem

Ok so I was playing(MGSV) on the Xbox One today and everything was going fine no problems and i havent had problems since Netflix use to hard reset my console randomly. Well I leave the console for X amount of time on the dashboard with no game playing in
the background and an app minimized on the main home screen(IntExplorer to be exact)and when i come back i'm able to move around on the dashboard to the Pins, Home and Store tab but if i click on anything anywhere on the dashboard the icon or "button" clicks
in but nothing happens, nothing loads, and it just sits there. So im able to click say the "My games and App" icon and it shows im clicking it because i see the "button press" of the icon but it doesnt load up, go into the main screen on the home screen as
if it was to load up or anything. I only had this problem once when i had a bad keyboard plugged into the USB awhile ago to type and when i unplugged it it worked fine. So heres the problem. I decided to hard reset my console. Now everytime i turn it on it
just sits at a black screen then loads to a green screen then thats it. I turn the console on then it sits at a black screen for like 7 mins then the green loading screen pops up. I may go black again for 5-10 mins then to just show the green loading screen
again. The little dots on the beginning green loading screen are moving so its not frozen. I have another xbox so i switched cables, TV, the wall socket. I even tried turning it on while holding the eject button and xbox button. ATM it is still just sitting
on the loading screen and this has been going on for a few hours now. This literally just came out of nowhere i have no idea what the problem is. I have read a few things but looking for brand new Sept 2015 info maybe things have changed. Any ideas?

    :)

    Xbox One booting up problem

Hi, sorry for the issue you've been experiencing.

Try these troubleshooting steps below to see if they can get your issue sorted.

    • Power cycle your Xbox One console.
    • Try a different HDMI cable
    • Try a different HDMI port in your TV
    • Try steps within our blank TV screen troubleshooter
    • Refresh your display settings.
      • If there’s a disc in the Xbox One console, eject it.
      • On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for five seconds to turn off the console.
      • Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console.
    • Clear persistent storage in Blu-ray settings. (Settings > Blu-ray > Click Clear Persistent Storage)
    If the above doesn't work:

    1. Switch the console off and unplug the power cable from the console and power supply from the wall for 15-20 mins.

    2. Connect everything back up and see if your console boots as it should. If it does, your display may be in low-resolution at this point.

    3. Go to settings.

    4. Select Display and Sound.

    5. Select TV Connection (auto-detect is best).

    6. Select the resolution you usually go with.

    7. Go back to settings.

    8. Select Power and Startup.

    9. Under Power Mode, select energy saving.

If the above steps worked, try changing your power mode back to instant-on (if that's what it was set to before) and see if everything is still okay or not.

If nothing here has helped, it would be best to contact support at Xbox One Support | Xbox 360 Support | Xbox Live and Billing Support, select the category which applies to you and opt to speak to Microsoft Support.

Let me know how things work out, good luck - hope you get back to enjoying your console as soon as possible.

    Boot up problem.

Thanks for your ongoing help but a corrupted file would cause this to happen every time the machine starts up not just the odd time I decide to eject a disc at a certain point during start up. As I have repeated not ejecting the disc the machine loads up
fine. I did speak to a customer services rep who also was stumped and doing a reset yesterday the problem still exists

    Boot up problem.

Sorry for your issue i can understand it's hard too fix but we do try our best remember that :)

But anyways i do recommend contacting the Customer support and confirming this but the way i picture this is there a boot up problem resulting a file not being loaded properly therefore it's corrupted and will require a Reset of the system. Please do not
do this yet until a support agent has reviewed your case and encourages you on doing this action.

    Boot up problem.

Okay Lets try removing the Kinect from the console clear the system cache and see if it resolves it's self

If it does fix itself then it may be the Kinect draining your console of the power and may need repairs but i currently don't recommend this yet. If i Cannot resolve your issue i'd really start a chat with an Xbox Support agent to get Fast Messages and more
    info on the Topic.
