Getting the Dogfood thing also, I have no problem loading and playing games.

Turned xbox off for 30 seconds at the wall and I no longer see it hope this helped.

Have you noticed that the "Official Support" has not commented of why this is happening in almost 3weeks?? Tired of the bs! The occasional dash boarding, having to uninstall,and reinstall games, having to hard reboot, when do we as consumers draw the line??
We need to make a stand gamers!!

Just did a hard boot and the message has gone. Panicked for a minute there thought my xbox was dieing! Hopefully it isnt anything serious and doesnt come back.

Yes I have to hard re boot my xbox (30 second unplug) every time dogfood shows up. I don't know how common it is, but I googled Xbox one dashboard dogfoodv4 and there were a few hits. It may not be widespread but it is frustrating for us few who have it.

Hmmm havent seen this one yet. have you tried a complete reboot or system restore?

To do a total reboot With the console on, press and hold the power button on the console for 5-8 seconds until

it shuts off. Unplug the power supply, wait about 30 seconds and then plug it in and reboot. You should see the green

splash screen upon reboot. It may take a minute to boot all the way to the home screen.

worst case is you could do a system restore by following this link:
support.xbox.com/.../reset-console-to-factory-defaults

But I would recommend you contact technical support before doing the restore.
