  1. Xbox One Boot Issues/Power Brick Issues

    Hi

I recently bought an Xbox One, and despite it supposed to be being the new amazing "center of the living room" I've had a number of problems with it. Firstly, I recently got a new TV, and moved my Xbox to use it on the new TV, from my old TV which
was working perfectly. I changed a few settings to suit the new TV better, and everything was fine. However, I go to use the next day and...

    1. Start Up animation shows

    1 minute later:

    2. Blank screen

The Xbox was connected and outputting something because when I unplugged the HDMI to check it, the TV blinked and said: "HDMI Connection Has Been Unplugged."

I've tried everything to make it show a picture, from cutting the power to changing the TV and HDMI cables, to using Microsoft's own technique of holding down Eject and the Xbox Button to reset the display settings. None have worked, and I'm going
to send it in for repairs/replacing if no one knows what to do in my particular case here.

Also, sometimes during this strange, broken boot process, Kinect fails to boot, therefore in my opinion ruling out the option of the display settings being the problem.

Finally, also when I first got the Xbox, the power brick was making a really loud fan sound, much louder than I expected. Also, there is something rattling around inside it. I was starting to think that one day playing
Titanfall that it might blow up, so have put off playing my Xbox until I work out what's wrong. Should I get it replaced?

Thank you in advance for any help.

    :)

Dead Rising 3 Kicking me Offline Today

This is a known issue that isn't specific to Dead Rising 3. Other games are being affected as well. Until a patch is in place, try a cold boot and see if that helps.

Hold the power button down for 5-10 seconds. Pull the power cable out of the brick (the large thing that looks like, well, a brick that is part of your power cord). Wait until the light goes out on the brick. Now you're all set. Plug it back in and restart the system. Hopefully that will fix it for the moment. Again, this isn't a permanent fix, but should do until they come out with a patch for this issue.

    Xbox One Power Brick Issues

So my power brick failed a few weeks back and out of panic I quickly went over to a friend's house to see if it would work on a new power brick and it did. Fast forward to today and I get a new power brick however this one isn't working either and I have
tried everything including plugging it into an outlet rather than an adapter. Is there any reasons why this may be happening?

With all the issues you've put forth there, I'd recommend sending it in.
