  1. Xbox One Bluray App Black Screen

I know there are a few posts about this already and MS has even made an announcement about it; however, I believe my problem is different than others.

MS said that an easy fix is to perform a power cycle, and while that does indeed fix my black screen, their announcement made it sound like it was fixing an occasional error. They also mentioned "varying shades of black" - my screen is just black. There's
also the "black screen of death" issue where audio still works, and again that is not my issue. For other black screen on app launch issues, people have mentioned fixes such as adjusting the 24Hz option or delete/DL the app again, and these do not fix my problem.

For me, every time my console comes out of sleep mode, the bluray app shows a black screen on the main window of the dashboard. When I attempt to launch the app by clicking on that window, a black screen pops up for about a second and then the system returns
me to the dashboard. I can repeat this process over and over. The only things that fix the issue are power cycling the system, opening the settings a quitting the app, or waiting about 2 minutes for the system to automatically fix the app (how it recognizes
the problem and fixes it I don't know, but it does).

Clearly the issue lies in the system resuming from sleep mode, and I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced a similar issue with this or other applications. If anyone knows about this issue, let me know.

    :)

  2. Xbox One S Blu Ray Player Issues

Every bluray I have (one 4k UHD Bluray and dozens of regular bluray titles) does not work with the Xbox One S I have. They work just fine in my other Xbox One (regular 500gb, not S or elite XBO, and obviously not the 4k UHD bluray) but every time I get an
HDCP error for 5 minutes flipping between the error screen and bluray app frozen, then it just tells me it cannot read the disc. Apparently the Xbox One S needs a different bluray app than the regular Xbox One bluray app. Maybe if the community was allowed
to make a bluray app for the Xbox One S it could save Microsoft some face since I have more faith in the community at fixing a problem via their own bluray app than Microsoft fixing it.

    Blu-Ray Player Issues

Hello xbox community, I am hoping one of you can help me with an issue I am having with my bluray player. I have downloaded the the app and every time I go to play either a regular dvd or bluray disk this black screen appears however there is audio playing
in the background from the disk. So the disk is being read however the screen with not play the video. After the screen goes black it goes black semi- perminatly. I can press the Xbox button and I will hear the sound like it goes back to the home screen however
the screen remains black. It will remain black until I completely shut down the Xbox. Unce I turn it back on however the screen resets and I get video again until I launch the bluray player. I am however able to play games on disks normally without issue.
I hace tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling the app multiples times and I have reset my xbox as well. None of it has helped. I do have it connected to a reciever however I am able to play games normally without issues. Thanks in advance for all the
    help
