Xbox one bluetooth wont connect

Recenty i bought a new controller and when i tried to connect it, it just didnt work. So i had to use a usb. i always thought it was a controller problem until recently when i bought ANOTHER controller, it was then when it dawned on me that my xbox bluetooth
was literally broken, I have no clue how to fix this and im not paying money to do so. help.

xbox one original and the s and x does not have bluetooth, it uses an internal wifi ship to connect controllers, this could have failed if none of your controllers are working then try a reset of the console or it may have to go for repair.

When you say Xbox controller, you mean an XBox one? it seems to me that the first version of the XBox One controller does require an adapter to be able to connect to your PC. The newest version of the XBox One controller does support Bluetooth communication
and hence it can be paired to a PC.

its an xbox one controller and i cant do bluetooth because my pc wont allow it

Hi, I believe the Bluetooth capability is intended to connect the controller to your PC using Bluetooth.

no, sorry, no direct bluetooth connection. only with dongle

and of course, there are some keyboards/mouse that wont work.

Are you talking about connecting controllers to the PC?

With a USB bluetooth adapter, you can connect one Xbox One S controller to the computer. Bluetooth connectivity requires your computer to be running Windows 10 (with the Anniversary update).
