  1. Xbox One Bluetooth Controller Problems

Good afternoon everyone I was looking to see if I could get some insight into some way of getting my Xbox One controller set up over a bluetooth connection. Let me give you some back story first:

So it began when I wanted to play some GTA V with a buddy of mine, I did some research and found that I could use the bluetooth built into my PC to connect my Nintendo Switch Pro Controller to my PC and use that. This method did work for a while but it was
inconvenient having to sync and re-sync between my PC and the Switch. So one day I get on my PC with the intention to play some GTA and find myself unable to connect my previously working Pro Controller. No longer was I able to find a device called "Pro Controller"
under my bluetooth searching all I was presented with is a device called "Input" with a game controller next to it. This helped me very little and after hours of rolling back drivers and versions of windows I was unable to get the Pro Controller connected.
I thought possibly it was something with the controller and decided to pick up a new Xbox One controller and see if it would produce better results.

Alas, it did nothing for me and I am continuing to see my only connection be this device called "Input". Whenever attempting to connect to this device (either the Pro Controller or the Xbox One controller) I will click it and it
will just hang, no connection will be made. USB has also proved to be less help as I am still unable to find any device even close to being name "Xbox One Controller". I have even gone as far as doing a totally clean install of Windows and it still unable
to help me. Anything that could help me get a controller back working over bluetooth would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

    :)

Xbox 360 controller connecting to Microsoft Xbox Wireless Adapter

    Hello,

Last week I buyed a Xbox One S wireless Bluetooth controller, for playing games in Windows 10. Unfortunately games will be slow when I use the controller with Bluetooth. My keyboard and mouse are also connected through Bluetooth. It seems like that 3 Bluetooth
devices is too much at the Bluetooth controller.

Now I want buy a Microsoft Xbox Wireless Adapter to connect the Xbox One S wireless controller. But is it possible to connect a Xbox 360 controller to that same adapter? I buyed the new controller because the Xbox 360 controller gives problems at Windows
    10.

Anyone suggestions why games will be slow when the Xbox one controller is connected by Bluetooth? When I connected the controller through a USB cable, everything works fine.

    Thanks.

Windows 10 automatically installs driver and pair with an Xbox One Wireless Controller

Hi. I am having some problems with my Xbox One Wireless Controller and Windows 10 laptop connection. I hope you can help me, below are the details of the issue.

    1. When I turn on bluetooth, Windows 10 automatically installs driver for a Xbox Wireless Controller even if my controller is still switched off. I tried removing the paired controller from the devices but everytime I restart bluetooth it reinstalls again.

    2. When I try to connect my Xbox Wireless Controller to laptop via bluetooth, Windows 10 cannot detect the controller. I can only use my controller via wired usb connection.

I have installed this before and works perfectly via bluetooth, now I can only use the controller via wired usb connection.

Xbox Series 2 Elite Controller Bluetooth on PC randomly disconnects

That is true. You are not alone on that one. But if you don't have problem with the controller and xbox. So it's not a controller problem but a Bluetooth problem on pc. Have you check the Bluetooth connector on settings to see the power safe is not on?

Try to re-install the drivers from the Bluetooth.

Xbox One controller on Windows 10 drops out constantly

I too have a similar problem with my new Xbox One controller. The old one is WI-Fi 2.4GHz only and still works. The newer Xbox One controller can do both Bluetooth and 2.4GHz. When connected to my PC (don't own an Xbox One nor any console) via Bluetooth
(internal, no dongle) it will drop out unexpectedly every couple of days, or so. Not only that, but via Bluetooth, Windows sees it as an "Xbox controller". Via 2.4GHz (have the Xbox dongle) it is seen the same as the old controller, an "Xbox One controller".
Have all updates applied, so that's not the problem. Have both controllers with Amazon Basic Black Aluminum Charging Stand (which comes with the rechargeable battery pack) and it has a good charge when it drops connectivity and easily reconnects if I restart
the computer or remove and then add it via the Bluetooth Setting, so that's not the problem. No other Bluetooth device I have drops connectivity, so that's not the problem. This only leaves the controller itself as the problem. Using the Xbox dongle as recommended
seems the best fix, if you have one. When buying one, be careful to get the right one, as it seems by the reviews I've read that there are a lot of merchants out there selling fake ones.

after latest firmware update the wireless xbox controlled is no more correctly recognized on PC if connected using bluetooth

    Hi Vinicius

it's not a problem of the controller, it can be paired with the PC with no issue, unfortunately with the latest firmware is no more recognized as an Xbox controller when connectd using bluetooth

In the joypad configuration panel when is wired connect it is reported as a "Controller (Xbox One For Windows)", when connected using bluetooth is reported as a generic "6-axis 16-buttons game pad with hat switch"

With previous firmware version it was reported as "Controller (Xbox One For Windows)" for both (even when connected with bluetooth)

    It's a firmware bug

Will PS3 Bluetooth Headset work with Xbox One?

The Xbox One console doesn't support Bluetooth. That headset won't work with the Xbox One in any way.

The new Xbox One controllers (the ones that come with the Xbox One S) have Bluetooth, but that's only used to connect the controller to a Windows 10 PC through Bluetooth.
