Xbox One Bluetooth Adapter (Turtle Beach)

I spoke with a Turtle Beach rep, a few months back, and they told me something along the lines that they are not permitted to create a Bluetooth Adapter for their xp500s, which would be compatible for the Xbox One. I was wondering who, what, when, why, etc.,
in regards to the Bluetooth for the Xbox One. I bought this very expensive headset in the mindset of longevity, but was demoralized to see this not go through. Are there any future plans for this? Thanks.

The Turtle Beach XBA Bluetooth Adapter will not work on the Turtle Beach X41's.....It will work on the XP500/XP400/XP300/PX5 only!

 

I am having the same issue. I bought the Turtle Beach Tango headset for the 360. Everything is wireless. I too was also told that if I buy the $30 adapter I would be able to use it. While the headset works perfectly fine, I have no way to use the chat feature
due to the design of the bluetooth insert from the headset. From the looks of it there will not be an adapter. If anyone knows anything different, please let us know!! $300 pair of Turtle Beaches gone to waste!

 

Its an insult that they do not have a Bluetooth controller anyways and just followed what worked so very well. The way turtle beach hooks up to phone and game at same time is amazing. Its so easy to take calls while gaming and or listen to music from
phone while gaming. That would have solved some of the streaming music problems with X1 also.

I knew from the start when an adapter was mentioned that it would not be made to add an adapter to an adapter. For the most part it would snap off and break even if it did work and who wants such a mess.

The new chat is in zero way a step forward, I do not care what the specs on paper might say. Chat is still better on the older consoles for sure.

 

I WAS FURIOUS when my XP400s I bought for my Xbox 360 would not work wireless for chatting with the Xbox One! Next Gen console but I'm forced back to using wires from the headset to the controller? WTF Microsoft????!!! I mean Really W T F ?! You couldn't
make a simple bluetooth adapter or allow Turtle Beach to make one? I'm glad I took that POS Xbox One back to the store. No way I was paying $500 for the same thing as the Xbox 360 (with slightly better graphics). Its 2014 and you're trying to tell me this
is not possible? Yet...I see videos where kids are making their own by soldering components from one adapter to another and getting it to work with the Xbox One. I guess down the road a bluetooth adapter will come out and grab everyone for another amount of
money after they bought the adapter that forces you to use a wire again. Way to go Microsoft....GREAT NEXT GEN CONSOLE you conned people into buying!

 

And there is still not a quality solution even to purchase new headsets. Wow, the stereo xbox ones seem like a joke. Who the heck uses stereo for games and movies. Some of the stuff they are doing makes me think its the original xbox staff and maybe about
20 years too old.

 

does anyone have any news if MS is planning on doing ANYTHING to support Bluetooth headsets on the xbone. Super disappointing that nothing has been said about this matter.

 

They have no plans for this, however Turtle beach announced on E3 they are working on a fully wireless head set for Xbox one which should be released end of October.

 

It's all about the mighty dollar instead of it's customers. Xbox sells the adapter and turtle beach blames xbox and then they in turn get to sell us another 400 dollar wireless headset if we settle for that. I have the PX5 headset for my xbox and I hate
having to use the wire.....

 

The new headset will be fully wireless for Xbox one and around $229

look on US amazon Earforce Stealth 500X.

 

But not compatible with PC or any other console. Another money grab.

 

There is one being released by TB for PS4 as well, I didn't mention this as this is the support forums for Xbox one.

 

There will most likely never be an official Bluetooth adapter released to remedy your situation however there are mods that can be done if you are good with soldering small electronics or you can pay someone to do it for you.

When can we get a single ear wireless headset for the xbox one? I mean you did like 3 for the 360. why not the next gen console!!!!!!!!
