    Xbox One Blu Ray Player


    It would be great if we could standardize video controls across multiple video related apps, especially the Xbox blu ray player. The controls are extremely awkward vs most popular streaming video apps. I realize third party apps are designed to run across,
    multiple platforms, but the UI for those apps should be consistent across that platform. For instance, if I'm on Netflix and the "A" button immediately pauses a video, then it should be the same across all Xbox video apps. The Blu Ray player controls are so
    different from the other apps so its become tedious and frustrating just to play a movie. Can you please standardize video controls across apps?

    DVD playback quality is still atrocious.

    No I would expect a blu ray player to play DVDs as good as a standalone DVD player. Blu Ray players don't magically improve DVDs. The problem would appear to be that the One blu Ray player doesn't perform well when playing DVDs in comparison to other
    Blu Ray players.

    Just tried the Blu Ray on a PS3 and it works like a charm, so it's definatly a bug on the Blu-Ray Player on the Xbox One!

    Why not buy a 3D blu-ray player its not like they cost much and the Xbox One uses software for Blu-ray playback unlike proper Blu-ray players.

    Xbox One can play Blu-Rays, you just need to download the Blu-Ray Player app for it, & it's free too.
