Xbox One Blu-Ray Pixelated Screen

For some reason, recently, blu-ray discs seem to have some REALLY spotty issues whenever I play them. At 1st I thought it was the disc itself, I ran it through another blu-ray player and it was fine, so I suppose it's the Xbox One. I gleaned a couple of
things I found online, one in particular I saw was one involving TV settings possibly not being compatible with the console, but to my knowledge, I hadn't altered my TV settings since my Xbox One was hooked up. I'm just curious as to hear what could possibly
be the obstacle. Thanks for the read.

On my Sony TV the "Display Area" needed setting to "AUTO" to get the green lines on the edge of the screen

The manual setting to achieve the same result is "Display Area - "FULL PIXEL", this is the setting I use for Blu-Ray and Xbox One.

Have you cleaned your blue ray reader on the machine? What resolution do you use? Have you tried to change it? What app do you use to reproduce your content? Try to reinstall it.

That is weird. It could be the eye that reads the disc creating the pixelated issue.

"Ultra HD" Blu-Rays will play in 4K. Standard Blu-Rays will play in 1080p.

The Xbox One S will only output to the highest resolution offered by the Blu-Ray disc it plays.

I suppose this design choice was in mind because 4K/UHD-TVs already process and upscale a lower resolution image to "cleanly" use all of the 3840x2160 pixels, so it's not putting unnecessary load on the Xbox One S CPU.

HD ReadyHere's where it gets confusing. A TV that is marked as "HD-Ready" is not necessarily capable of displaying a full high-definition image; it simply means that it is capable of accepting and showing a high definition source, like an HD Set-top Box,
a Blu-ray player, a Sony PlayStation 3 or an XBox 360. You'll be able to watch whatever these devices are showing, but you may not actually be able to see all the detail. The minimum native resolution for an HD-ready TV is 720 pixels in height or 720p, which
is not enough to display all the detail found on Blu-ray or 1080i HD channels

There are, in fact loads of different native resolutions available, the most common of which in the lower end of the HDTV market is 1,366 by 768 pixels, but in order for you to see literally every detail from all current high definition sources, you need
a TV with a native resolution of 1,920 pixels in width by 1,080 pixels in height, otherwise known as Full HD or 1080p. A screen with 1080p resolution is capable of displaying every pixel stored on a Blu-ray disc
