Xbox one blank screen

I have the first edition Xbox one 500Gb, lately while I’m playing the screen randomly goes black, I can hear the sound but no picture, I have to reboot the Xbox every time it happens, I know it’s not my tv as it’s brand new, any ideas? Or do I need to get
a new Xbox?

I remember this issue being an old bug that had been fixed with updates. Have you updated your console? If you are in the beta program this could be an error with the software and you would need to report this bug. If your not in the beta program I suggest clearing the cache which instructions can be found via bing/google.

I’ve tried the steps I need to take, done numerous resets, it’s totally random when it happens so it’s hard to nail down the actual issue, the console was bought in 2013 when it came out, maybe the inside is just worn out?
