Xbox One - Blank Screen after Xbox Loading Screen

Hey!

Been reading up on this for a bit, and haven't been able to find anything that works to correct the issue. Upon turning on the xbox, it displays the loading screen and then goes to a blank screen only to sit there indefinitely. I have attempted all of the
troubleshooting steps that have been suggested by both Microsoft Support and suggestions from other people that have gotten their issues resolved. Just looking to see if there is anything else that can be done. This is really unfortunate as I have had my xbox
since Day One and treated it with the utmost care.

Any suggestions anyone has, or anything that Xbox Help can do to help me get this resolved would be greatly appreciated.

Update Black screen

After update xbox one will get stuck on a black screen and xbox loading screen.

 

Have to unplug and replug HDMI cable or TV image to show up

After I plug it back in it shows the home screen. Also, it makes the loading sound with the blank screen up.

You mention you've attempted some previous troubleshooting steps.

Could you please clarify which troubleshooting steps you have done so far?

That way we can recommend the best way forward for you.

 

I have had my xbox one since day one and it just started having this exact problem today. All I have tried doing is unplugging it for a minute and plugging it back in. I have checked all of the cables to make sure they are not loose. I have also swapped
the hdmi cables to my satellite and it is working fine so I know its not the cables. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

You seem to have the same problem that my wife and I had on two different Consoles since the last update. When we turn the XBox on, we get a black screen after the Green MS Screen and nothing seems to be working anymore, can´t even log in.

Now I hope this works for you as well, but all i did (and still do) is turn on my controller and hit the Guide Button. It then gives me the Start Screen (Menue) where everything is the way it should be. The middle is black, but changes as soon as I click
on anything. I log in and play like always.

Hope this is the case by you as well, then you know everything works.

The list of things that I have tried:

Turning off and turning back on.

Holding the front of the xbox for 10 seconds to hard reset and turning back on.

Holding for 5 seconds to turn off, then holding the eject button and power button to "reset the display mode" to no avail.

tried different HDMI cables for giggles, even though the original is giving me the green Xbox One screen just fine with the same result.

Unplugging the console and leaving it unplugged for a few minutes and for a day with no resolution.

Both leaving the ethernet cable plugged in and unplugged just in case that was causing anything.

Tried to hit any and every button on the controller, tried holding the home button to see if that would bring up the turn off your xbox bar and it did not.

I am completely out of ideas and really don't want to pay to get this fixed, but it's looking like that will be the case.

Blank screen, won't go to dashboard

I have the same problem. I've tried everything but nothing works. please help!!

 

I'm having the same problem as well and nothing has worked at all even tried the offline update which was suggested by xbox support n still nothing.... i haven't even had mine a year!!

 

Same issue as well I personally have had nothing but trouble with my xb1 since I have had it I have always been and xbox guy but here lately im starting to reconsider xbox 360 worked great just seems like xb1 is poorly made

 

Is this just an Australian based problem or world wide problem with the xbox one?

 

I have the same problem, my son was using it fine last night and this morning black screen after the load screen

 

Same issue over here guys, nothing will get me off this black screen. Small joys in life have just faded to black. Someone has to know something to correct this issue or see this is a trend and determine the source of the loading issues. Ain't nothing
band-aids won't cover, but any kind of direction would be helpful at this point.

 

There is no fix for this issue I've tried everything to fix it and nothing works anyone who has this problem now has a £300 brick.these consoles should last longer than 15 months
