Xbox One Black Screen

So my Xbox One won't display anything on screen. When I power on the Xbox, the green screen displays showing the Xbox One logo. After that , all I get is a black screen. Everything works fine until I get to the home screen. Instead of seeing the home screen,
I just get a black screen. I've tried un-plugging everything and letting it sit for a couple minutes. I read that you should hold your finger on the power button for 10 seconds and tried that. I even tried using different HDMI cables. Nothing seemed to work
and I still have a black screen every time I start up my Xbox. Can anyone give me help on how to fix the problem. I would hate to have to buy a new console. Thanks for your time.

After update xbox one will get stuck on a black screen and xbox loading screen.

Same thing happened to me on both xbox ones in my house yesterday tried all they tips but no luck on either console. I thought it must have been a update bug but it seemed strange that it happened to both console. One is 4 month old n the other is 15 month

 

Yeah, I didn't even know this was a problem. I tried to search for solution and didn't realize that apparently this was a problem for people a while back ago. Hopefully both our problems get fixed.

 

This literally just happened to me about 5 minutes ago. I installed MK X last night, played it for about an hour or 2. Played it tonight for about the same time. Then it would freeze on this story mode cutscene, every single time. So I'd exit out and go
back in. Still nothing. Then this message pops up saying my local saved data needs to be cleared? I was skeptical about it, but then I looked on forums and what not to try and find an alternative. Nothing. So i said why not? The cloud will save me. Ehhhhh,
wrongggggg. The console said it would now restart......never did. just a black screen. Then I learn of the black screen of "death". I've tried everyyyyyyything, every method to get this thing back on. Are there gonna be any fixes? Or is microsoft leaving us
dead in the water?...

 

Same problem here!!! I tried every "solution" of support page and still black.... Please let me know of any possibble solution!!

 

If there's not a fix for this anytime soon, I'm done with Microsoft, this is ***.

Well I recently updated Titan Fall. I decided to play it again when I was told the map packs became free. I did that probably a few days ago and everything was running fine. Then all of a sudden, my home screen froze. I restarted my Xbox, and then that's
when I got the black screen. I doubt that's the reason....but you never know.

 

Mine was just out of the blue for both consoles. Been trying again today to sort it out but no luck. When I put in my head set i can hear the dash screen when I press controller. Really hope its sorted soon

 

Well if I can't find a fix for the problem any time soon, I'm just gonna have to send it back and get it fixed hopefully. It really sucks because I don't want to spend 100$ to get it fixed, but I also don't want a broken Xbox lying around.

 

I'm not paying $ to have it fixed, *** that. ill sell this hunk of *** and sell MK X and be done with gaming. Eff it.

 

I'm with you, iCOD3R3D. This console has been a disappointment for the most part and way too frustrating to the be entertainment hub in the house. Is it me or have Microsoft products slowly gone to
[Mod Removed]? (Do you hear that, Satya Nadella and Phil Spencer!? YOUR PRODUCT IS A PIECE OF CRAP!) When did it become acceptable and almost expected, this extremely low standard of quality!? My console has been gradually getting worse and
worse. Reboots and power cycles have become routine, multiple times per night and tonight it has degraded to the so-called black screen of death. Why the heck do I have to worry about a closed system having such sudden swings in performance? This One experience
has been the worst since I got married to Microsoft. If this doesn't correct itself or with no cost to me, I'm going from Xbox Live to Xbox Buh Bye. I'm tired of all this substandard junk.
