Xbox One - Black screen

    Xbox One - Black screen


    I got my Xbox One at launch, had no issues whatsoever, until yesterday. I'm able to see the Xbox One splash screen when I press the power on, but then just goes away and I get a black screen. I've tried disconnecting, connecting HDMI cable, changing to a
    different hdmi port. I've unplugged everything, tried a different outlet. Same issue. I see the Xbox One come up, then about 10-15 seconds, just a black screen. Is this fixable without having to ship it for repair? Please help.

    Update Black screen

    After update xbox one will get stuck on a black screen and xbox loading screen.

    Xbox One - Black screen

    Try doing a hard reset by holding the power button on the front of the console until it turns off then unplug it. It's usually only for 30 seconds but leat it unplugged for 5 minutes then plug it back in and back on and hopefully the problem will be resolved.
