Xbox One Black Screen - Worked for two days then died - What to do?

Hello guys and gals.

I recently bought an Xbox One after a few years with the 360. Everything was going great, I played the including FIFA 15 and had no problem whatsoever for two whole days when the consol suddenly didn't want to work picture and sound-wise. It seemed strange
so I tried many different ways to get it to work, I tried to change the HDMI-slot but it didn't work, I tried to change the HDMI-cord to the two I've used with my 360 but they didn't work either(used the 360 today so they are working properly), I tried to
change the TV to my other one but didn't result in anything, I tried to start the consol in "Low Resolution"-mode but it didn't work at all.. It seems like both of my TVs don't "know" that it's plugged in, I can usually go to the "HDMI"-section of the TV but
now, it won't show that it's really on, so to say.

So, what should I do? I mean, I've had it for only two days and I'm already extremly disappointed, I've never had a single issue with my 360..

Please help.

Xbox 360 S or Skyrim disc issue?

I recently got a new 250GB Xbox 360 (I think thats the S?) after my previous Xbox 360 died due to disc reader failure. Its worked great on all the games I've tried playing on it, until I tried to play Skyrim. It will read the disc and immediately go to a
black screen. One time it asked to update for skyrim, then it disconnected from xbox live and booted me to the dashboard. Now all it does is go to a black screen and often times becomes unresponsive. Any ideas what the problem is? Skyrim worked best on the
old xbox before it got too bad to play games.

the disk loaded fine. when the game was selected it starts up and freezes then screen goes black and then the main xbox screen comes on. what is wrong, this same disk worked on another xbox one yesterday.

Have you tried to do a hard reset on the console? Unplug all the cords, hold down the power button for 30 seconds, and then plug everything back in, and turn on the console

If that doesn't work, it seem that there is a problem with running a few files. You will just have to download the files to a USB flash drive, and download them to your console.

Yeah, I've tried the hard reset but without success.

I'm downloading the file right now and will try it, hopefully it will work but with my luck today and tonight, I doubt it..

And now, the consol is starting to make some strange noises, both when it's plugged in and when it's off.. I'm starting to suspect that it's broken...

I am sorry to hear that your console is not working. Sadly, as of this point if it is not working, and it is making noises, you will have to set up a repair for your console.

You can do this by going to myservice.xbox.com and set up a repair, or call 1-800-4Myxbox
