XBOX One Black screen of death.

Hello, I've recently just had an issue with my xbox one, I've looked up what it's called and it's called the black screen of death, I try to update my system with the OSUDT. But it doesn't wanna display on the screen, I've done all the steps, Unplug power
Cord for 30 seconds, Plug Power Cord Back In, Put USB with program into xbox, Hold down the sync button on the side of the xbox and hold eject at the same time for 15 seconds, I've done all those things and I made sure my xbox one was on and I've tried to
do it off as well. Can Someone please help me out. I've had this xbox one for about 2-3 years now and haven't had a single problem at all.

My solution doesn't work on issues that include software / hardware problems that require special care.

For me, the 5 minutes of being unplugged works wonders when my console isn't working properly.

If you have exhausted all the troubleshooting steps regarding this issue the only thing that remains is to send your console for repairs. In the following link you can register your console and file for repairs:

Hi, in some instances if you let the Xbox sit at the black screen for around an hour it will boot up.

As a last resort there is the option to factory restore the Xbox using a USB flash drive. Follow the instruction exactly and instead of using the OSUDT files use the Restore Factory Defaults file. Be aware that this WILL remove all your games/apps etc.

Im dealing with the same issue ive had my xbox since the day one addition it has worked perfectly up until a month ago. Playing games and everything was fine but when i went back to the home screen it started moving really slow like a computer with to much
on it or something. Started having sign in issues apps not wanting to work things it got really glitchy. So i cleared out the system storage the blu ray storage and reset it then it worked fine for a few days then it started doing it again. So i repeated the
process until and it was same thing again work for a day or two then started acting up a freezing and things like that. Which led to me ultimately doing a full factory reset and that worked for a day or two and now i can get pass the xbox power on load screen.
It stays green longer than it should and then it turns to a black screen and stays there.....will not go back to the home screen

 

I'm now experiencing what appears to be the same issue as Terrell Watson. My xbox had started behaving glitchy and slow for the past week or so. Then today at start up my Xbox One was stuck at the green loading screen for 10 plus minutes before the screen
went black. My Xbox One then hung on a blank black screen forever sometimes displaying an icon for a few seconds before going completely black again.
