Xbox ONE - Black Screen - No logo - System Errors

Hi All

I had system errors E101 and E102. I tried using the offline update tool for both update 1 and update 2. Yes I made sure I had the right OS version build.

That didn't work.

I tried resetting to factory settings and it brought the screen back to 'Preparing Console'. It took so long I power cycled and restarted.

Now I get a 'Black screen of death' with no logo.

I have tried different hdmi cables, inputs and also tried my monitor in the study.

I also tried power cycling, 30 second waits, hold down the power cable with power unplugged and even

'Bind and Eject' button with no two power tones. The eject button just made a tink sound.

I held it longer and it just powered down the xbox. No disc in drive through all this as well.

What else is there to do, I've tried everything.

Xbox One stuck on black screen after boot up

I am Having the same issues... I get the XBOX ONE logo and the a black screen.

Sometimes the Logo just stays on the screen.

 

Xbox One boot up question

I've noticed that my console does not boot up the same as it used to. Normally when I turned it on the console starts on the Green Screen, then goes briefly to a black screen with the white xbox logo right in the center, and then finally to the dashboard.

Before: Green Screen > Black Screen (w/ xbox logo) > dashboard

Now: Green Screen > Black Screen (NO xbox logo) > dashboard

This sequence is mostly unchanged except that white xbox logo on a black screen is gone. Screen still goes briefly black before the dashboard, but no logo.

I've checked with a friend and he still gets that logo. We're both on OS Version 6.2.13332.0, and power-saver mode.

Is this something I should be concerned about? The console is otherwise functional, but my console got the green screen of death a few months ago, and the same thing more recently. I fixed it both times with the offline factory reset tool but then I noticed
that white logo no longer showed up during the booting sequence.

Any help appreciated.

 

Hello, I suggest you send the console in for repairs. You just need to register it here:

support.xbox.com/.../register-your-product

if its within the year of purchasing then it will be free.
