XBOX ONE BLACK SCREEN FIX AND APP CRASHING FIX!

Hey Guys, I'm a Level 7 Xbox Ambassador and it seems like 50% of my current 'Helpees' are having this issue with their Xbox One Games, Apps and Kinect becoming
unresponsive and giving them either a
black screen or the app crashes and continues each time to not work.
The fix is very easy and quite simple....

1. Power Cycle your Xbox One - You can do this by holding the power button for 8 - 10 seconds (Depending how fast you count). Once the console
is back and on your home screen then just simply open the app, game or try Kinect again and you'll usually find that this has worked If so great and Have and Awesome day. But if not then go to 2.

2. Unplug the power from the back of your Xbox One and wait
30 seconds. Then after the 30 second wait
carefully plug power cable back into your Xbox One back and then turn it on. Once your on the home screen then just like before try the apps, games and or Kinect. This should've fixed
the issue.

XBOX ONE NETFLIX AND XBOX VIDEO CRASH FIX

I've posted before about my experience about the xbox one Netflix App and Xbox video app crashing when I was wirelessly streaming movies using my router. Using the workaround via hardwire instead of using wifi to fix the issue temporarily. I recently decided to look into my router to figure out if it was the issue. After a looking at the default settings on my router via the router address. Mine was http://192.168.0.1 for my router, there is an option called WMM (Wi-Fi Multimedia) functionality option. It allows the router to prioritize incoming transmissions to prevent any lag or latency depending on the demand. I unchecked this option and there has been no problems since with the wireless xbox one experience via Netflix or Xbox video apps. Hope this helps!!

 

Xbox One Bluray App Black Screen

I know there are a few posts about this already and MS has even made an announcement about it; however, I believe my problem is different than others.

MS said that an easy fix is to perform a power cycle, and while that does indeed fix my black screen, their announcement made it sound like it was fixing an occasional error. They also mentioned "varying shades of black" - my screen is just black. There's
also the "black screen of death" issue where audio still works, and again that is not my issue. For other black screen on app launch issues, people have mentioned fixes such as adjusting the 24Hz option or delete/DL the app again, and these do not fix my problem.

For me, every time my console comes out of sleep mode, the bluray app shows a black screen on the main window of the dashboard. When I attempt to launch the app by clicking on that window, a black screen pops up for about a second and then the system returns
me to the dashboard. I can repeat this process over and over. The only things that fix the issue are power cycling the system, opening the settings a quitting the app, or waiting about 2 minutes for the system to automatically fix the app (how it recognizes
the problem and fixes it I don't know, but it does).

Clearly the issue lies in the system resuming from sleep mode, and I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced a similar issue with this or other applications. If anyone knows about this issue, let me know.

 

My Xbox one has just developed this problem. When turned on it loads to the green microsoft screen and then goes black. This appears to be a common problem from all the threads that I have read. I have tried all of the above, including contacting Microsoft
Support who disconnect my request for chat every time.... 17 tracked attempts to date... I assume the the whole console will have to be returned and would appreciate advice on how to go about that
