    Xbox one black screen and flashing game art background


    when I turn my Xbox on I get a black screen however I can hold the guide button and select "turn controller off" and "turn console off". If I insert a disk the game art background flashes continuously each second and If I take the disk out the Xbox turns
    itself off. I've tried checking the HDMI cable and multiple power resets. Does anyone else have this problem and does anyone know whether there is a fix or whether I need to take my console to a store. Thank you

    Magic 2015 now available

    This game has some of the best achievement art for use as Xbox One home screen backgrounds bar none, IMO. Why? Because they use the gorgeous card art! Xbox one black screen and flashing game art background :D

    Background Not Showing My Achievement Art

    About a week ago, I noticed that my Xbox One home screen is no longer displaying any of my chosen achievement art. The background remains completely black. Also, my Xbox One is fully up to date in all software updates including the recent March update, but
    when I choose the "mostly transparent" tile option, my tiles remain completely solid. What can I do to resolve this annoying issue?

    This problem seem like a old issue and not fully resolve, I have my XB1 for X'mas last year, and this issue also appear on me.. it started with happening some time at the beginning, but now it happen like every time I playing with my xbox, it happened on
    the dashbox screen as well as during game play.

    Some say, changing the HDMI cable to a better one (or the best you can buy) and update the TV firmware helps..

    I am getting a better HDMI cable from my nearest store soon, will see if this help my problem.. as it getting annoying while it happen during game play...

    This sounds more or less like a hardware issue, try another hdmi if you haven't already.. Also check out your warranty at myservice.xbox.com also make sure your plugged into a wall outlet and not a power strip
