    Xbox One - Black Home Screen After Update


    Hi,

    Following an update yesterday (21/03/18), my Xbox One (original model) starts with the green start up screen as normal, then goes to a black screen. It then stays like this permanently.

    When I press the guide button, the screen brightens slightly and I hear the guide opening sound, but the screen then darkens again and remains blank.

    I've tried power cycling, resetting the resolution, different HDMI - nothing seems to work.

    Has anyone had this issue and does anyone know a fix?

    I'm part of the preview programme.

    My tv screen is black but the Xbox and the Kinect are on
